Wordlinx Gets the Order of the Boot!

Greetings click fans.

After over a week with zero click ads available I've finally lost all patience with Wordlinx and axed them from this test. It has been frustrating all along with Wordlinx; most days no more than a single ad available, and never more than three.
But it does illustrate that in essence with paid to click, you are gambling your time with essentially anonymous sites. All the more reason to spread your risk!

But never mind the Buzzcocks bring on the reserves! By a mouse clicking, jaw dropping coincidence I happen to have not one but two new PTC sites just waiting in the wings.

Firstly I have been trying BUX-GR, one of hundreds of similar looking BUX sites all with slightly varying terms of service (TOS).

It pays $0.01 per click for standard members and currently has a $10.00 minimum for payout (I am at $3.21 at the moment).

Rented referrals are slightly expensive at $1.00 for a month, and they can't be renewed. If you get a good reliable clicker, tough, they will expire after the month is up. I tried a couple of referrals and they aren't really profitable for standard members, so I will not rent any more for the time being.

My second new starter for this trial is Hits4Pay. This one looks really quite promising so I would recommend you to give it a try, not least because you get a $10 bonus just for signing up!

Minimum payout is $50.00 and I'm currently sitting at $14.66 including the $10 bonus. The number of adverts available varies, but can be up to 20 per day. Each ad viewed pays $0.02 for every 1 click. Copy my strategy and try and get some referrals, and this can soon mount up. Another good feature is that they even drop you an e-mail to let you know that you have posts waiting to be read.

Paid Per Click Test - Progress Report

It's a little while now since I posted an update on my Paid Per Click / Paid To Click (whichever term you prefer!) testing.

Both Rich PTC and Big Money PTC are progressing well with balances currently standing at $337.00 for Rich PTC and $435.00 for Big Money PTC. There has recently been an increase in the number of ads available to read on both of these sites and they are currently featuring several new ad campaigns.

Wordlinx is plodding on slowly as reported in my last update. It currently averages about three ads per day and my balance stands at a lowly $0.80.

Bux.to continues to provide plenty of ads and my balance is currently $7.12. Still a long way to go to the minimum cash-out of $50. Once I have tested the payout I will consider further investment in referrals and membership upgrade.

Last, but by no means least is my favourite site NeoBux. I am continuing to steadily develop this account and income streams from NeoBux are steadily growing.

I have invested $90.00 (yes ninety!) in premium membership for a year. This not only gives me access to more adverts each day but also doubles the payment I receive for each referral click. This only works out at $7.50 per month and as long as you have more than around 100 referrals, it easily pays for itself.

I have also rented more referrals and my total now stands at 208.

Look at it like this:

I have 208 referrals and they average 2 clicks each per day.

208 x 2 x $0.01 = $4.16 per day
$4.16 x 30 = $124.80 per month
9 x 30 x $0.01 = $2.70 for my personal clicks

It costs around $0.20 to rent each referral for a month (there are ways to make this cheaper though).

208 x $0.20 = $41.60 per month
Golden Membership = $7.50 per month

Gives:
(124.8 + 2.7) - (41.6 + 7.5) = $78.40 profit per month

Now I agree, that isn't a huge figure. But grow your account to 2000 referrals and it starts to look more appealing.

NeoBux Update #2

As promised, here is an update on how my NeoBux account is coming along.
I'm now up to 53 rented referrals, having added $15.00 dollars into my Neobux account from Paypal and spending $12.50 on a pack of 50 referrals on 1st Aug 2009. Most of these appear to be actively clicking at the moment, which is great. If the five or six referrals that so far appear to be inactive don't come to life, I can recycle these for $0.08 each.

The quality and professional feel of the NeoBux site continues to amaze me. There are some great tools to help you manage your account.

The screenshot below shows my account details, with balances, number of referrals and graphs of my personal clicking record.



This next screenshot shows a graphical picture of my referral's clicks, with totals per day and a slide bar with the current average (0.92) and projected average (2.08) for today's referral clicks.



Finally in this update, the table below shows a full account of my NeoBux balance to date. It's showing -$10.55 at the moment, due to the recent purchase of referrals using external funds, but I expect to be back in profit in around ten to twelve days.

Progress Report 3rd Aug 2009

Here is a progress report for my five test sites, the table below contains my balance figures for each. The biggest change so far is that I currently have 53 rented referrals at NeoBux (50 more being purchased the day before yesterday). It is immediately apparent how this boosts the number of clicks I get credited, and although the daily averages will vary, it looks as though the referrals will pay for themselves after around 12 days. This leaves the balance of the month's rental for profit. I will also make a separate post later to explain in more detail my current progress with NeoBux, as the simple table below does not give the full picture now that I have invested external funds on referrals.

NeoBux should start to pick up speed now that I have some referrals, but the account balance will remain low as I re-invest to build up the number of referrals. Bux.to is also going steadily, with good numbers of adverts to click on each day. Wordlinx remains frustrating with only one or two adverts per day.
Big Money PTC and Rich PTC, still coming along nicely. I look forward to reaching the cashout level on these to see what happens.

NeoBux Update #1

In order to fulfil the last of my requirements before being allowed to upgrade my NeoBux account, I need to make two rentals of referrals. These can only be made on two consecutive weeks (ie you are allowed a single rental purchase per week).

As my account had reached the heady heights of $0.85 I transferred $0.80 to my rental balance and used $0.75 to make the minimum purchase of 3 referrals, rented for one month. Obviously with only three referrals, the chances of getting a reasonable number of clicks from them is limited (knowing my luck, all three will be on vacation this month!). But anyway, it helps move my test forward, as by all accounts it is not possible to make a decent return before upgrading your account.

One point I would like to make is that compared to the other four PPC sites in my test, NeoBux is by far the slickest and best designed.

Progress Report

Around two weeks after starting my experiments (I didn't join all five sites on the same day), here are my balance figures for each site. As I have yet to get any referral earnings this early in the game, it gives you an indication of what earnings you get just by clicking on your displayed advertisements as a standard member.

As you can see, NeoBux, Bux.to and particularly Wordlinx standard earnings are very low. Referral earnings are clearly needed here, plus the additional earnings gained from membership upgrades. I'll report back when I start my testing with referrals (probably starting with NeoBux).
Big Money PTC and Rich PTC, very respectable balances here. But, as these are my high risk sites, as discussed elsewhere, I'll reserve judgement until I can cashout to my Paypal account!
